A Historic Weekend for Team Mercury

We couldn’t imagine a more exciting way to begin the very first vlog on our new Team Mercury Aesthetic Group Gymnastics website than by sharing the unforgettable experience of the first-ever AGG USA California State Championship.

This competition felt especially emotional for us. Over the past year, our team has grown tremendously, and since 2025, the Mercury family has doubled in size. What once started as a single team has now become four teams across different age categories:
    •    Mercury Nove (ages 6–8)
    •    Mercury Prive (ages 8–10)
    •    Mercury Perfe (ages 10–12)
    •    Mercury Este (ages 12–14)

Even though our gymnasts are in different age groups, we are truly one big Mercury family. At competitions, you can always hear us before you see us! We cheer loudly for every routine, especially for our youngest athletes. And the best part? Our little gymnasts have already learned to cheer just as loudly for the older teams.

Together, we even created our team motto:

Team Mercury. Swift. Strong. Unstoppable.

The atmosphere around our team is something truly special. It begins with our amazing parents who support us in everything we do, and continues with our dedicated coaches who care deeply about every gymnast, sharing both the nerves before performances and the joy of every achievement.

This weekend brought many beautiful moments and wonderful results.

Mercury Perfe delivered an incredible performance and placed 1st in the Long Program (10–12 age category), becoming California State Champions.

Our youngest stars, Mercury Nove, finished in the 2nd place and achieved their best personal result yet.

Mercury Prive also earned the 2nd place, performing with elegance and wonderful artistry on the floor.

Our oldest team, Mercury Este, debuted their new costumes for the first time this season with their new routine. They looked absolutely stunning and proudly took 2nd place.

One of the most memorable moments of the weekend was when Team Mercury presented our very first exhibition performance together, called:

“USA – Travel Through the Centuries.”

For the first time, gymnasts from all our teams performed together in one big routine. Our coaches beautifully told the story of different centuries through choreography, music, and style. It was emotional, inspiring, and incredibly fun for the athletes.

Many parents were deeply moved by the performance — some even had tears in their eyes. The youngest gymnasts were especially adorable as they danced to modern music by Justin Timberlake from the movie Trolls, bringing smiles to everyone watching.

Moments like this remind us why we love this sport so much — the teamwork, the support, the joy, and the memories we create together.

Congratulations to all Team Mercury gymnasts, coaches, and parents on these wonderful results at the very first AGG USA California State Championship!

And this is only the beginning of our story.
